Have you ever had a parent tell you to stand/sit up straighter (or have you told your child to do so)? People will stand/sit up straighter for about a minute and then go right back to slouching. Slouching has been shown to make you sad, effect your outlook on life, and effect you performance if various facets of work and life. Poor posture is also a major contributor to neck and back problems.
RockTape, when it is applied to the skin, begins to stretch as the patient begins to slouch. The patient senses a gentle tugging on the skin which reminds the person to return to the proper posture. The patient is gradually taped into proper posture through a series of taping sessions.
How does Rocktape work?
When RockTape is produced, they create a fabric that only stretches in one direction. This creates the lift that pulls the skin away from the soft tissue allowing for increased blood flow to the area which accelerates healing and recovery.
